Welcome to Villa Mar Vista!

Relax in spacious comfort with stunning whitewater ocean views from your living room.  Villa Mar Vista encompasses over 3200 square feet of living space in 5 bedrooms (each bedroom has either a king, a queen or two twins), a den (queen futon sofa), living room (queen sofabed with innerspring mattress).  We even provide you with porta-cribs, highchairs and aerobeds for the kids.

You will have ample room for your family group, reunion or corporate retreat.  The huge backyard has a stainless steel BBQ Grill and a brand new aluminum Kettler Ping-Pong table. There are also 5 boogey boards, 6 bicycles, sporting goods, and numerous board games and puzzles. The oceanfront home sits on an estate-sized lot measuring approximately 70 feet wide by 180 feet deep. The fenced and gated back yard is approximately 5000 square feet and the large grassy front yard is great for playing soccer with the kids.  There is even a 24-foot by 30-foot sports pad in the backyard where the ping-pong table is set up along with additional seating an a large above-ground Jacizzi Spa with ocean views.

Beaches and Tidepools Abound.

Villa Mar Vista is on the oceanfront street called Sunset Cliffs. The oceanfront is a mix of bluffs and sandy cove beaches. Directly west of Villa Mar Vista are tidepools that the kids can explore.

There are 4 or 5 sandy cove beaches nestled among the bluffs and the closest small cove beach (50 feet wide by 20 feet deep) is two blocks north of the house away and a large cove beach (approx. 400 feet wide by 50 feet deep) is two blocks south. For the closest beach with lifeguard towers you can take the kids to nearby Ocean Beach that stretches from the Ocean Beach pier (north of Villa Mar Vista) to the Mission Bay channel. This lifeguarded beach is totally flat with no bluffs and is over 1/2 mile long by 200 feet wide--it is a huge beach.

Villa Mar Vista Enjoys a Spacious Layout

Villa Mar Vista is a sprawling Ranch–Style home laid out in an "L-shaped" configuration with the dining room, living room and master bedroom all facing (west) with gorgeous ocean views. The Kitchen is just east of the dining room and the den is just east of the living room. The den opens onto the patio with outdoor seating for 18, and the huge fenced and gated yard. There are oceanviews from the Jacuzzi Spa, and the ping pong table and seating area next to the Jacuzzi Spa. The 5 bedrooms are all on the long leg of the "L" with the 3 bathrooms providing private or semi-private (Jack and Jill baths) direct access to most of the bedrooms. Three of the five bedrooms have private entrances to the outside that provide greater access for the families using these bedrooms.

The Sunset Cliffs area of San Diego is really a special area.  You will certainly notice that Villa Mar Vista is far different than the oceanfront rentals in Mission Bay--at Villa Mar Vista you enjoy much more space in the house and the front and back yards.  If you are looking for a place that will provide your family or your group with plenty of living space and absolutely no parking congestion then you will love Villa Mar Vista.  We like to go the extra mile to outfit the home with everything that you need (down to dishwashing and laundry detergent!) so that you can spend the week enjoying the great attractions that San Diego has to offer.

Spectacular Location, Reasonable Rates

·         Summer and Holiday Weeks are $6,300 per week (except June 17 to Sept. 4 - $7,700 per week)

·         Rest of Year is $550 w/ monthly minimum or $750 per night w/ 7 night minimum

·         Damage Deposit of $500 is returned at the end of your stay

·         No cleaning fee so long as the home is in the same condition as check-in

·         City of San Diego collects a 10.5% Occupancy Tax
